When I was accepted Early Decision in December 1978, I never imagined the possibility of this journey. When I got my degree in 1983, I knew I would always be coming back…but I had no idea how much. However, when I shot my first assignment for William & Mary in November, 2005, I did know something special was happening.
16 years later, it’s still special, and it’s still happening!
With the exception of dorm rooms and a handful of academic buildings, there are very few places on campus that I have not photographed one way or another. At President Rowe’s recent Listening Session for Strategic Planning, of the 6 people sitting at my table, I had photographed 5 of them! At some point during this stretch, I have worked with or at nearly every single school and entity that makes up our university.
There is no way to measure what this means to me, to be able to give back to this place that has given me so much.
And now that I am under contract, I will be able to continue working with William & Mary into the future!
For the most part, it will be business as usual. You will have photography needs and you can arrange for me to handle them, knowing that you get the same quality imagery that you have come to expect over the years, and you will get it on time and on budget.
What will be different are the processes. The purpose of this site is to give you the information you need to make the most out of your engagements with Skip Rowland Photography. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate reaching out to me. I am here for you!
